Meet the Designer

Julie McAfee lives in Louisville, Kentucky where she and her husband, Jeff, own studio threeesixty together, a commerical Interior Design business.

Moving to Kentucky in 2006 offered Julie the opportunity to experience the Kentucky Derby first hand and all the great events the city has that lead up to the iconic race. It has quickly became her favorite time of year.

In the beginning Julie only made fascinators for herself but in 2019 decided to start officially selling them! She doesn't get to dedicate her full time to these creations but loves the opportunity to bring her design eye to each piece focusing on distinctive color combinations and creating scale with a variety of feathers and loops.

Each fascinator is named for a Filly that has run in the Kentucky Oaks Race over the years. The Kentucky Oaks race takes place the day before the Derby focusing on the girls and adds a perfect little detail to each design!
